Editor Penny Briscoe is co-owner of Encore Publishing Group and Editor of Encore magazine. A 30-year resident of the area, she holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Penny is responsible for all editorial content, including story assignments and writer communication. In addition, she is copy editor for Excelsior magazine, and she is a writer herself.
