Encore Magazine
Encore magazine is beginning its 37th year of serving the Kalamazoo
community. Published nine times a year, the magazine focuses on stories
of inspiration about unique people with connections to the Kalamazoo
area and showcases residents' activities and community contributions.
Each issue features columns written by or about area experts on a
variety of topics. Two locally written poems and a Michigan history
feature are also included in each issue.
The mission of the magazine is to provide a positive, informative, and
entertaining focus on the people behind the strengths of our diverse
community.
Encore magazine is distributed at Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra concerts
and most touring productions at Miller Auditorium. It is also available
at the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre. It is mailed to professional offices,
subscribers, advertisers and Kalamazoo Country Club members. Multiple
copies are delivered to selected merchants and retirement villages. It
is sold at Michigan News Agency.
