It focuses on the people behind all that's good in the Kalamazoo area and showcases residents' activities and community contributions. Each issue features columns written by area experts on a variety of topics. We also publish two poems each month, which have been written by local poets. The mission of the magazine is to provide a positive, informative, and entertaining focus on the people behind the strengths of our diverse community. Encore Magazine is distributed at all Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra concerts and most touring productions at Miller Auditorium. It is also available at the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre. It is mailed to professional offices, subscribers and advertisers. Multiple copies are delivered to the Chamber of Commerce, the Kalamazoo Country Club, and to selected merchants and retirement villages. It is sold at Oakwood Pharmacy and Michigan News Agency.
