Mechanical Specs Digital Files: Preferred format: High-resolution PDF files prepared for Press. All original color images must be converted to CMYK prior to embedding into PDF format. Can also accept QuarkXPress®, Pagemaker®, InDesign®, Freehand® and Illustrator® files. All images must be at 300 dpi and, if in color, must be converted to CMYK. All images and fonts not embedded into the file must also be included. Fonts transmitted via email must be compressed. Laser prints are not acceptable as final ad copy. Microsoft Word® documents are not acceptable as final ad copy. Microsoft Publisher® documents are not acceptable as final ad copy. Also accepted: digital PDF files by e-mail, hard copy PMT, or high resolution output from an imagesetter. Documents from a laser printer cannot be accepted for reproduction, and you will incur additional charges if ad has to be reset. Advertisers and their agencies assume liability for all content, including text, representation and illustrations in advertisements. They also assume responsibility for claims due to content made against the publisher. Publisher reserves the right to reject any advertisement not in keeping with the publication's standards.
