Discover "Lost Boy Found in Whole Foods"

Personal relationships, the challenges immigrants face when they adapt to living in this country, and humans’ need to connect with one another will be explored April 6-22 when Lost Boy Found in Whole Foods is staged at the Civic’s Parish Theatre, 426 S. Park St.

The play examines what happens when a recently divorced woman meets a former "lost boy of Sudan" working in the produce section of Whole Foods and invites him to live with her and her teenage daughter. The result is an unexpected journey of awareness, struggle and hopefulness for all involved.

Because the play deals with violence, death and the tragedy of civil war in the Sudan, it is best enjoyed by prepared high school students and adults. Show times are 7:30 p.m. April 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 and 2 p.m. April 8, 15 and 22. Tickets are $20-$25.
