Concert highlights acoustic acts

Catch a diverse collection of local acoustic performers playing everything from bluegrass and Celtic to folk and classical music at the K’zoo Folklife Organization’s annual Loaves and Fishes Benefit Concert.

The concert is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Nov. 19 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 504 S. Westnedge Ave. Performing will be Bride of Fleckenstein, Megan Dooley, Double Strung, the Guitar Parlor Ensemble, the Schlitz Creek Bluegrass Band and Whiskey Before Breakfast.

The event will raise funds and food donations for Loaves and Fishes, a local organization that helps to feed those in need. Admission is by cash donation or a gift of non-perishable food items.
